The Cirque de Navacelles is an exceptional natural site, formed by the erosion of the Vis river. Its steep cliffs and unique landscape make it a must-see place for geology and hiking enthusiasts.
Les Cascades de la Vis
Important Cévennes affluent of the Hérault on the right bank, the Vis flows through the departments of Gard and Hérault in the Occitanie region. This 57.8 km long river starts in the Cévennes National Park, near the Col de l'Homme-Mort.
Along the water, many waterfalls, sometimes spectacular, await the walker or holidaymaker, such as the Navacelles, Saint-Laurent-le-Minier, or Cazilhac waterfalls.
They are located 15 minutes from the Castle.
